مبدأ العمل
Inside the sealed, oil-bath lubricated housing of the EP-SL402, two cascading planetary stages convert the high-speed, low-torque motor input into a reduced-speed, high-torque output at the driven shaft. A floating sun gear arrangement between stages automatically centres the load distribution across all planet gear contacts, compensating for minor alignment errors between the motor shaft and the driven machine. This self-centering feature extends planet bearing life in long-service installations where perfect alignment cannot always be guaranteed.

Planet gears use 17CrNiMo6 carburised and profile-ground steel, providing superior fatigue life versus 20CrMnTi at equivalent case depth. Carburising is controlled to 0.8-1.1 mm with a core hardness of 30-38 HRC for impact resistance. The ring gear is 42CrMo4 مُقسّى بالكامل and bore-ground after hardening for dimensional stability. The planet carrier is a single-piece forged nodular iron construction, eliminating the flex found in welded split-type carriers.
