EVER POWER 2-Stage 82,000 Nm Extreme-Duty High-Efficiency Planetary Gearbox
Der EP-RPR2800 is EVER POWER’s most powerful 2-stage RPR gearbox, delivering 82,000 Nm output torque from a 2-stage design that maximises power transmission efficiency at extreme torque. Replacing the Brevini riduttori RPR2800, this unit is the preferred choice for high-power continuous-duty applications where the efficiency advantage of 2-stage design outweighs the cost of the larger housing — large mine ventilation fan drives, ultra-large pump drives, heavy ship thruster drives and primary metal processing drives.

Funktionsprinzip
Two extreme-large-module planetary stages handle up to 120 kW continuous input power. The active oil-jet lubrication with integrated oil cooler bypass valve allows the oil system to circulate warm oil through the bypass at startup — protecting bearings and gear contacts from cold oil viscosity stress before the oil reaches operating temperature. The output flange features a large-diameter precision register for accurate centering of large-bore coupling flanges without separate centering rings.

Struktur- und Werkstofftechnologie
All gears use 18CrNiMo7-6 double vacuum-arc-remelted (2x VAR) steel — the highest available purity for the gear steel used in any EVER POWER product. Carburising depth is 1.3-1.6 mm; profiles ground to ISO 1328 class 4. Planet carriers are GGG70 heavy-section nodular iron forgings. The output shaft is a solid 42CrMo4 + 18CrNiMo7-6 composite forging for maximum bending stiffness.
