EP-RPR3150 Planetary Gearbox
EVER POWER 3-Stage 25,000 Nm Planetary Gearbox for Heavy Industrial Drives
Der EP-RPR3150 triples the stage count of the RPR150 series to deliver 25.000 Nm output torque with a very wide ratio selection up to 160:1. As a direct replacement for Brevini riduttori RPR3150, this unit is specified for heavy conveyor head drives, marine winch assists, heavy-duty mixing equipment and large material handling systems where high torque and slow output speed are simultaneously required.

Funktionsprinzip
The 3-stage arrangement provides cascading torque multiplication. The large-diameter ring gear in the third stage is the key structural element ?? a wider ring gear face distributes the high output torque across a greater tooth contact area, preventing gear face wear under the heavy radial loads typical of large sprocket or chain drives. A lip seal and labyrinth combination provides triple-layer protection against slurry and dust ingress at the output shaft.

Struktur- und Werkstofftechnologie
Third-stage ring gear is manufactured from 42CrMo4 durchgehärteter Stahl for maximum ring gear stiffness at large diameter. Planet gears use 17CrNiMo6 carburised steel ground to DIN 5 throughout all three stages. The output flange is machined to register diameter 0.02 mm TIR for accurate sprocket alignment. External coating is Epoxidgrundierung + Polyurethan-Decklack, 500-hour salt spray.

A: The unit relies on the motor’s braking torque or an external brake for static holding. No internal holding brake is fitted as standard in this model. A brake adapter flange is available for external brake mounting.

A: Yes. The third-stage ring gear is a removable cartridge. Replacement requires removal of the end cover and is achievable by a qualified mechanic in approximately 4-6 hours.
