EVER POWER’s EP-SLS4002 is a 2-stage inline planetary gearbox in the Brevini SL/SC compatible replacement range, rated at approximately 4,000 Nm output torque. The SLS series inline planetary gearbox is engineered with full dimensional compatibility to the Brevini riduttori SLS4002 — the same flange pattern, output shaft and housing register — enabling maintenance teams to replace failed units without machine downtime beyond the installation itself. With IP65 sealing, synthetic oil bath lubrication and a forged carrier assembly, this unit is designed for long service intervals in demanding continuous-duty industrial environments.

Principio de funcionamiento
The two-stage epicyclic design of EP-SLS402 achieves maximum efficiency by minimising the number of gear mesh contacts in the power path. Input power from the motor enters the first sun gear. The planet gears — mounted on a precision carrier — orbit the sun and react against a fixed ring gear, stepping down speed and multiplying torque at the carrier output. This carrier then drives the next stage input, compounding the reduction. The output shaft or hollow bore is supported by a back-to-back bearing arrangement providing combined axial and radial load capacity for direct sprocket, coupling or gear drive connections.

The one-piece GGG50 ductile iron housing is stress-relieved after casting and precision-bored to eliminate misalignment between gear stages. Planet journals run on needle roller bearing assemblies with hardened pins, providing maximum radial stiffness in the compact housing diameter. The output flange register face is precision-turned to 0.015 mm total runout for accurate shaft coupling or sprocket mounting without eccentricity. O-ring face seals at housing joint faces use HNBR compound for compatibility with biodegradable hydraulic fluids.
