El EC3-series extends the compact housing concept to three stages, providing reduction ratios up to 150:1 in a housing diameter typically 12-18% smaller than an equivalent ET3-series unit. It is ideal for compact industrial drives, small tracked equipment, tight-envelope hoists, narrow conveyor drives and space-constrained machine tool axes where the 3-stage ratio range is needed but the machine frame cannot accommodate a full-size 3-stage housing.

EVER POWER 3-stage compact Gearbox Internal Structure

Three stages are nested coaxially in a reduced-diameter housing. The inter-stage floating sun shaft self-aligns between stages, eliminating any bending moment that would otherwise distort the sun gear teeth under offset loading in the compact housing. A precision output flange register ?? machined to 0.015 mm TIR ?? ensures accurate sprocket and coupling mounting without eccentricity in the narrower housing.

Housing is cast from GGG50 ductile iron and bore-ground to minimise material thickness in ring gear zones. Planet gears use 17CrNiMo6 carburised steel, ground to DIN 5. Sealed-for-life angular contact bearings on input and output shafts eliminate external lube points in compact installations. External paint is two-coat industrial epoxy, 400h salt spray.
