Gigi bagian dalam menggunakan baja paduan karbon rendah yang diproses dengan karburisasi, pengerasan, dan penggerindaan atau nitridasi. Gearbox planet memiliki karakteristik ukuran struktur yang kecil, torsi keluaran yang besar, rasio kecepatan yang tinggi, efisiensi tinggi, kinerja yang aman dan andal, dll. Gigi bagian dalam gearbox planet dapat dibagi menjadi gigi lurus dan gigi heliks.
