Housing is machined from 7075 aluminium alloy or GGG50 iron depending on size. Planet gears use 20CrMnTi carburised steel, ground to DIN 6. Thin-ring construction requires press-fit ring gear installation with Loctite 638 retaining compound for permanent bore fixation.
