The housing is precision-cast from GGG50 ductile iron<\/strong> and machined to H7 bore tolerances. Planet gears are manufactured from 20CrMnTi case-hardening steel<\/strong>, carburised to 0.7-1.0 mm case depth and profile-ground to DIN 5 accuracy. The output shaft is supported by back-to-back tapered roller bearings<\/strong> pre-loaded at the factory for zero axial play under combined radial and axial loads. All external shaft seals are FKM fluoroelastomer<\/strong> rated for synthetic gear oil service at up to 120 degC.
