Ten EM1-series is a single-stage planetary gearbox delivering the highest efficiency in the EC/EM family. With up to 98% efficiency per pass and input speed up to 6,000 rpm, it is the preferred choice for servo motor direct coupling, high-speed spindle drives, precision indexing and motion control applications where minimal energy loss and low backlash at high input speed are the primary requirements.

A single planet stage receives motor input on the sun gear shaft. Planet gears orbit the sun and react against a fixed ring gear, multiplying torque at the planet carrier output. The single-stage architecture provides the lowest possible gear mesh losses ?? critical for servo-driven axes where heat generation in a compact housing would otherwise require motor de-rating. Angular contact output bearings handle combined axial and radial loads from cantilever-mounted drive elements.

Housing is precision-cast from GGG40 aluminium-alloy or GGG50 ductile iron depending on size. Planet gears use Stal do nawęglania 20CrMnTi, carburised and ground to ISO class 5 accuracy. Angular contact ball bearing pairs on the output shaft provide pre-loaded zero-play support for reversing servo loads. All seals are Fluoroelastomer FKM rated for synthetic oil at up to 120 degC.
