O EP-RPR3800 is EVER POWER’s most powerful planetary gearbox in the RPR series, delivering a class-leading 130,000 Nm output torque with ratio coverage up to 280:1 from a 3-stage design. Replacing the Brevini riduttori RPR3800, this is the flagship unit for the largest and most demanding industrial applications — large cement and minerals grinding mill main drives, giant ship propulsion gear systems, large vertical mill drives for iron ore processing, ultra-large agitator drives for chemical reactors, and primary steel rolling mill drives.

Princípio de funcionamento

Three extra-extra-large-module planetary stages with full oil-jet lubrication and an integrated shell-and-tube oil cooler (capacity: 45 kW heat rejection) ensure stable operation at the extreme thermal load generated by 130,000 Nm continuous duty. The output stage uses a 5-planet carrier — the only product in EVER POWER’s range to use five planets — distributing output torque across five simultaneous contact points for the lowest possible per-tooth stress at this extreme torque level. All five output planet pins use spherical roller bearings for self-aligning load support under housing deflection at 130,000 Nm.

Tecnologia de Estrutura e Materiais

All gears across all three stages use 18CrNiMo7-6 2x VAR steel, carburised to 1.4-1.7 mm and ground to DIN ISO 1328 class 5 accuracy. The shell-and-tube oil cooler is 316 stainless steel tubes in a carbon steel shell — compatible with sea water, river water and cooling tower water. Planet carriers are extra-heavy-section GGG70 nodular iron monobloc forgings. The output flange register diameter is precision-ground to 0.008 mm TIR — the tightest tolerance in the RPR series.
