EP-RPR2320 Planetary Gearbox
EVER POWER 2-Stage High-Torque Planetary Gearbox for Heavy Process Drives
De EP-RPR2320 enters the heavy process drive segment with 32,500 Nm output torque from a compact 2-stage design, replacing the Brevini riduttori RPR2320. Designed for heavy process machinery, large screw conveyors, extruder main drives, heavy-duty mixer drives and large fan systems, this unit maximises power transmission efficiency in high-power continuous-duty applications where energy operating costs dominate the total cost of ownership.

Arbetsprincip
Two large-module planetary stages operate at high torque and moderate speed. The precision-forged one-piece sun gear shaft eliminates the coupling joint used in assembled sun shaft designs ?? a common failure point under reversing torque loads in extruder applications. A torque limiter interface boss on the input housing flange accepts standard slip-type torque limiters for overload protection of the driven machine.

Struktur och materialteknik
Sun gear shafts are precision-forged from 42CrMo4 through-hardened steel ?? integral forging provides better fatigue life than separate shaft-and-gear assemblies. Planet gears use 18CrNiMo7-6 carburised steel, ground to DIN 5. Ring gears are 42CrMo4 through-hardened and bore-ground. Housing material is GGG70 segjärn for maximum stiffness under large-module gear loading.
