The EP-RPR3150 triples the stage count of the RPR150 series to deliver 25,000 Nm output torque with a very wide ratio selection up to 160:1. Structure and Material Technology
Third-stage ring gear is manufactured from 42CrMo4 through-hardened steel for maximum ring gear stiffness at large diameter. Planet gears use 17CrNiMo6 carburised steel ground to DIN 5 throughout all three stages. The output flange is machined to register diameter 0.02 mm TIR for accurate sprocket alignment. External coating is epoxy primer + polyurethane topcoat, 500-hour salt spray.
