The EP-CTD1020 serves compact construction, agricultural, robotic and light industrial crawler markets. Its 2-stage epicyclic design keeps the housing short and the weight low ?? ideal for OEMs designing tight-envelope track frames where every kilogram and millimetre counts.

Principe de fonctionnement
Input from the hydraulic travel motor spins the first-stage sun gear. Multiple planet gears orbit the sun and react against a fixed ring gear, multiplying torque at the first-stage planet carrier. That carrier feeds the second stage for a final cumulative reduction of up to 50:1. The integrated spring-applied, hydraulically released disc brake engages automatically on loss of hydraulic pressure, preventing roll-back on slopes.

Technologie des structures et des matériaux
The housing is available in die-cast aluminium alloy (lightweight duty) or GGG40 ductile iron (heavy duty). Planet gears are cut from Acier de cémentation 20CrMnTi, carburised to 0.6-0.9 mm and ground to DIN 6 accuracy. The output flange bearing is a four-point contact slewing ring rated for combined axial, radial and overturning loads from the track chain. All seals use Composé NBR, standard for mineral and synthetic gear oils.
