EVER POWER 3-Stage Compact Planetary Gearbox ?? Higher Reduction for Automation
Le EP-RPR3046 adds a third planetary stage to the RPR046 housing, raising peak output torque to 7,800 Nm and ratio range to 100:1 while maintaining the same external footprint as the 2-stage RPR2046. This makes it the first choice when servo or induction motors need a high reduction ratio ?? such as slow-speed rotary tables, indexing mechanisms and material handling lifts ?? without enlarging the machine frame.

Principe de fonctionnement
Three sequential planetary stages share the same concentric axis. Stage 1 handles the high-speed motor input at up to 3,500 rpm. Stage 2 and 3 multiply torque further with each reducing input speed proportionally. The floating sun gear in stage 2 compensates for carrier concentricity errors between stages, eliminating the need for precision alignment at assembly and improving load sharing across all planet gears simultaneously.

Technologie des structures et des matériaux
The 3-stage housing is cast from GGG40 ductile iron for stiffness. Planet gears throughout all three stages use 17CrNiMo6 steel, carburised and ground to DIN 5 accuracy. Angular contact ball bearings support the output shaft, providing combined axial and radial load capacity for cantilevered gear or sprocket loads.
