Yang EP-RPR3600 is one of EVER POWER’s most powerful RPR series gearboxes, achieving 98,000 Nm output torque with a 3-stage VAR-steel planetary design and ratio range extending to 250:1. Replacing the Brevini riduttori RPR3600, this unit is specified for the most demanding large-scale industrial installations — large cement raw mill and clinker mill main drives, large ship propulsion gearboxes, large slewing ring drive systems, sugar mill main drives and large industrial press drives.

Prinsip Kerja
Three extra-large-module planetary stages operate with full oil-jet lubrication. The integrated oil cooling heat exchanger — a plate-type oil-to-water cooler built into the housing base — maintains oil temperature below 75 degC even at 98,000 Nm continuous duty in tropical ambient conditions. The output shaft arrangement uses a split-type shrink disc coupling interface for direct connection to large solid shafts without machining the driven shaft.

Teknologi Struktur dan Bahan
All gears throughout three stages use 18CrNiMo7-6 VAR steel, ground to DIN ISO 1328 class 5. Planet carriers are massive GGG70 nodular iron forgings — not weldments — for maximum structural integrity. The integrated oil cooler body is 316 stainless steel for compatibility with cooling water from various sources including sea water if required.

A: Standard flow rate is 15-20 litres/minute at inlet temperature below 30 degC. Sea water service requires reduced flow rate — contact our engineering team for a cooling calculation.
Q: Is the shrink disc coupling included?
A: The shrink disc interface boss is standard. The shrink disc itself is sourced separately and matched to the customer’s shaft diameter — EVER POWER can supply or provide the coupling specification.
