EVER POWER 3-Stage 44,000 Nm Planetary Gearbox with Cooling Fin and High Ratio
De EP-RPR3255 combines the 3-stage torque capacity of the RPR255 series with the integrated cooling fin flange of the RPR2255, delivering 44,000 Nm at ratios up to 200:1 while maintaining safe oil temperatures in enclosed installations. Replacing Brevini riduttori RPR3255, this unit serves large marine gearrooms, large underground mining drives, enclosed offshore processing equipment and industrial furnace car drives.

Werkingsprincipe
The 3-stage planetary train multiplies torque from input to output. The cooling fin flange on the output end bell dissipates frictional heat from the third stage, which operates at the highest torque ?? and therefore highest frictional losses ?? in the unit. A temperature bypass oil circulation groove channels hot oil from the third stage gear mesh zone past the fin flange before returning to the sump, maximising the cooling effect.

Structuur- en materiaaltechnologie
Third stage gears use 18CrNiMo7-6 VAR steel, carburised to 1.1-1.4 mm. The cooling fin end bell is ADC12 aluminium alloy, anodised for corrosion resistance in salt-air environments. Housing main body is GGG70 nodular iron. All output shaft seals are dubbele lip FKM rated for 130 degC continuous oil temperature.
