Working Principle
Four planetary stages are packed coaxially in the compact housing using thin-wall ring gear sections and optimised planet-to-ring gear clearance. Thin-wall ring gear sections are machined from 42CrMo4 through-hardened steel for maximum stiffness in the reduced wall thickness. Planet gears use 17CrNiMo6 carburised steel, ground to DIN 5. The hollow through-shaft option uses a precision-ground bore to H6 tolerance for interference or clearance fit on the drive shaft. Seals are FKM fluoroelastomer for synthetic oil.
