Принцип работы
The EP-PWD3700’s 4-stage planetary arrangement stacks four concentric reduction stages coaxially. Each stage’s planet carrier becomes the sun shaft input to the next, achieving 300:1 reduction in a compact form factor. The output stage bearing pre-load system is factory-set using precision shims so the tapered roller bearing assembly carries both radial rope loads and axial fleet angle loads without play developing over service life. An optional external oil cooler circuit is available for tropical-climate duty above 40 degC ambient.

The EP-PWD3700 uses 18CrNiMo7-6 vacuum-arc-remelted (VAR) steel – the same grade used in aircraft and wind turbine main gearboxes – carburised to 1.0-1.5 mm case depth and ground to DIN ISO 1328 accuracy class 5. The housing interior is shot-peened to improve fatigue resistance. All external fasteners are stainless steel A4-80 to prevent galvanic corrosion in offshore installations.
