Working Principle
The EP-RPR2065 uses a 2-stage helical planet arrangement ?? helical teeth provide a higher contact ratio than straight-cut gears at equivalent module, reducing noise and vibration at the high input speeds typical of servo motor applications. Structure and Material Technology
Housing is precision-cast from GGG50 ductile iron, finish-machined to H6 bore tolerance. Helical planet gears use 17CrNiMo6 carburised and ground steel, tooth profile accuracy ISO 5. The output shaft is 42CrMo4 through-hardened, providing high bending stiffness for cantilevered load applications. Seals are FKM fluoroelastomer for compatibility with synthetic oils at temperatures up to 120 degC.
