EP-SC402 uses a coaxial drive arrangement where motor input shaft and output shaft share the same centreline, providing maximum torque transmission efficiency with minimum installation footprint. The output shaft is 42CrMo4 through-hardened, providing high bending stiffness for cantilevered coupling loads. A thermal monitoring boss (G1/4 threaded) is standard on all units with torque rating above 12,000 Nm, allowing a PT100 temperature probe to be fitted for plant DCS integration. External surfaces receive a marine-grade C4 epoxy coating system for outdoor and marine auxiliary applications.
